courses in the magnificent Gap of Dunloe. This area of outstanding
beauty is
one
of
the finest
venues
for rock
climbing in the whole of Ireland and is situated just outside the bustling
town of Killarney. The climbing consists of old red sandstone crags
and cliffs mainly of horizontal cracks with loads of single pitch climbs
of various grades, all only a 15 minute walk from the road.
Our comprehensive courses are suitable for beginners wanting to take
their first steps in becoming a competent rock climber, novices wanting
to further their skills and for groups of friends just looking to try
something different!

• Belaying
• Knots and ropework
• Movement and technique
• Equipment use and limitations
• Route and grading systems
• Safety
• Abseiling (full day course only)
• First steps to lead climbing and setting up belays
• Lots and lots of climbing!
Courses are run over 2 days, 1 day or half day/evening and all equipment
is provided.
